The New York Fire Dept. estimated the attendance of Garth's Central Park Concert to be approximately 980,000.

On September 19, 1998, in Minneapolis,MN - Garth Brooks broke his own record, set in Chicago. With more than 150,000 fans waiting for tickets, the country superstar added an unprecedented eight shows
at Target Center after tickets for his Oct. 9 performance sold out in nine minutes.  It was Garth Brooks times 9!  I was fortunate enough to attend the first show and be a part of Garth History.
159,000 tickets were sold for those nine shows! (October 6-14, 1998)

Garth proposed to Trisha on May 25, 2005 before 7,000 fans who were there to see the unveiling of a Garth Brooks bronze 8 foot tall statue at Buck Owens' Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, California.
Garth, on one knee, took off his hat, and asked "Will you marry me?" Although she was taken by surprise, Trisha said "yes" right away.

Filing for their marriage license in Claremore, Oklahoma on December 9, 2005, Garth and Trisha still surprised folks with their wedding the next day.  Garth and Trisha were married on December 10, 2005,
in a private ceremony at their home in Oklahoma, with family members.  Garth was 43; Trisha was 41.

Garth Now reside's in Edmond (just outside Tulsa), Oklahoma at his ranch home.
